No Evidence of Faster Virus Spread Since the Reopening Of Finland's Schools

A senior health official said there had been no evidence of a rapid spread of the corona virus in Finland since the schools reopened in mid-May.

"Time is running out, but so far we haven't found any evidence," said Mika Salminen, director of health security at the Finnish Institute of Health and Welfare, according to Reuters.

Finland reopened schools and day care centers on May 14 after a two-month hiatus.
